Happy Holidays

I hope you are all getting ready for 2015. The number does look daunting.
This is the first time I have actually written down the year (i.e. 2015), and I must say that it comes as a shock...not sure why.
I wish you all a new year that is miles better than this one that is slowly ebbing away, and that your secret dreams and wishes all come true.
Do visit my blog (and send an email or two).
I hope to have several new releases next year.
All the best and happy reading.

FYI Swords and Petals is now available.
This is the fourth book in the Gable Series

(A new adventure in the Gable Series)

There were hoots in the night, but no one heard them.

Little did Kat Queen know that her stay in Gable Village would result in an unplanned visit to Amsterdam, as well as in a daydream-stopover, with the clock turned back, in medieval Gable Borough.

Trying desperately to avoid emotional entanglement, Kat helps Damon Hedley look after a couple of abandoned owlets. She stumbles upon a small package from Egypt, dated 1896, containing a bewildering malachite stone.

Are dreams and reality intertwined? Kat struggles to find out.

The peaceful vacation turns into one of mystery, thrilling time-travel, and heart-pounding romance.

A 23,000 word novella (approximately 85 printed pages)

Thanks for stopping by.

Intuition and Common Sense

If only a tiny little bell would ring in my head and say: "Hey, this is your Intuition speaking. Stop and pay attention."

It is only when things go wrong, that I realize that I had actually foreseen the situation, but had simply pushed aside the thought. That bell simply hadn't rung long enough. The ting of that bell should have been a ding-dong or a loud bong.

Therefore, my resolution of the month is:

Hey, you...listen to that tiny voice inside of you. Don’t brush it away.

Some day it could really matter.

This is Not Science Fiction

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/science/10726278/Dwarf-planet-discovered-at-solar-systems-edge.html

You have probably already seen this, but I felt the need to post a tiny blog.

Scientists have identified a new dwarf planet in the reaches of our Solar System.
It is being called 2012 VP113 for the time being.

I have always been enthralled by everything far out in space (and even received an award for a science fair project). What is strange, I have never thought, until now, to write a space opera. This is certainly something to think about in the future.

For the Love of Books

I love books, always have, always will. Be they paper or e-, it really does not matter. I still remember feeling unbelievably proud when I accomplished the major feat of reading my very first book. Admittedly, it was a picture book, with great pictures and several lines of text on each page. But...was it was a book? Yes! I vowed to myself that I would treasure that little hardback forever...and then...someone stole it. Ever since then I’ve jealously guarded all my books. Every move, (and I’ve moved around a lot) meant heartbreak, because it meant leaving behind a good number of my paper treasures. So, in case you are ever in the position of having to part with some of your books, remember that you will probably be able to find an e version. Unfortunately for me, I do not know who wrote my very first book. It had a light-blue cover with lots of kittens and...I loved it passionately.

Just a friendly reminder

Don’t forget. The year is 2014. I am sure I’ll be writing 2013 well into the year. LOL

Welcome 2014

I don’t know about you, but I’m looking forward to this New Year. I plan on writing more books, reading more...in general...being much more active.
Have a great one.
